At Heart and Hand Auction Academy, we believe the auction profession should be accessible to people from all walks of life — not just those with the time, resources, or family history traditionally required to enter the field.

Who We Are
I never aspired to be an auctioneer.
​
Even after falling in love with the antiques, art, and the auction industry,
the idea of taking the podium, manage bids, and hammering a gavel down confidently seemed intimidating at best.​ Besides, I didn't know any auctioneers who were women.
​
And then, nearly a decade into co-owning an auction company, my partners encouraged me to obtain my auctioneer license. What began as a love for antiques, history, and the stories objects carry became a deep passion for the auction profession itself: the relationships, the responsibility, the integrity, and the ability to serve both families and communities during important moments in their lives.
That was almost 20 years ago, and there isn't a day that goes by
when I don't say a prayer of thanks for their encouragement.

Being an auctioneer has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I am thrilled to share my profession with anyone who is considering it.
Over the course of her career, Amelia Jeffers has become known not only for
her accomplishments in the auction industry, but for her commitment to professionalism,
ethical conduct, mentorship, & preserving the very best
traditions of the trade while helping move the profession forward.

Now she has gathered an impressive lineup of professionals she respects and trusts
to educate a new generation of auctioneers. Auctioneers who are prepared for a dynamic industry,
